Position Summary
We are seeking a warm, dependable, and enthusiastic Toddler Room Teacher to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a love for children, a positive attitude, and the ability to create a structured yet fun learning environment for toddlers ages 1–2.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, loving care to toddlers in a safe and nurturing environment
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that encourage cognitive, physical, emotional, and social development
- Maintain classroom cleanliness and organization
- Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding daily activities, milestones, and concerns
- Follow all center policies, licensing regulations, and safety procedures
- Work collaboratively with co-teachers and administrators to support each child’s needs
Qualifications
- Experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare setting preferred
- CDA (Child Development Associate) or Early Childhood Education coursework a plus
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Reliable, patient, and passionate about working with young children
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
