What are the responsibilities and job description for the Childcare Teacher position at Early Encounters Preschool and Learning Center?
Job Description:
Working at Early Encounters entails caring for children of all ages from 8 weeks to 5 years. Many, if not most, are here until 5:00-5:30. Job duties are age specific and include, but are not limited to, classroom learning activities, interacting and playing with children, supervising both indoor and outdoor activities, serving meals and/or snacks, interacting with parents. Early Encounters Preschool is a busy place filled with energetic children! Each staff member works to provide a fun, nurturing and safe environment where all our children can grow and learn.

Required Qualifications: at least 18 years of age; successfully pass FBI background check
Desired Qualifications: Early Childhood Education and/or experience in a licensed facility.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Be able to effectively guide and supervise young children to ensure safety and implement developmentally appropriate practice.
- Be able to move freely, lift, sit, and stand with ease.
- Be able to multi-task.
- Be able to effectively supervise children and University students in a variety of settings, including indoor classrooms, outdoor learning environments, and local field trips in a variety of weather conditions.
Note: Applicants must be able to work full-time.

1 - infant year old teacher (full-time position)
1- 1 year old teacher (full-time position)
1- 4 year old teacher (full-time position)
1 - preK teacher (full time position) - MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $11.00 - $13.75 per hour
