Assistant Teacher ~ Early Education Services

Early Education Services is part of the Windham Southeast School District, offering Early Head Start (birth-3) and Head Start (3-5) services to young children and families. We are seeking an individual to work as an Assistant Teacher. Job duties include: ~Actively supervising and assuring safety of children at all times ~Participation in the planning and implementation of curriculum with guidance from the lead teacher ~Helping assure completion of developmental screenings, assessments, learning plans, and conferences ~On-going family communication under the direction of the lead teacher Requirements: At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED. Must pass a criminal background check and a pre-employment physical. Candidates should have a minimum of 1 year experience in a center-based early childhood setting.
