What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance/Van Driver position at Early Connections, Inc?
We are hiring! Early Connections is currently looking to hire a full-time maintenance/van driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will work as a team member covering 4 early learning centers maintenance needs, as well as transport children twice daily to and from the centers for a specific program. A clean driving record is a must, as well as experience in general maintenance, and ability to obtain all necessary clearances. The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
- Perform general maintenance duties including but not limited to painting, minor repairs, floor maintenance, changing light bulbs, general plumbing, minor repairs to facility equipment, etc.
- Perform preventative maintenance of facility equipment that is not serviced by outside vendors
- Landscaping
- Snow removal and salting
- Some janitorial work
- Upkeep of multiple centers appearance
- Ability to work in multiple center settings and travel to each site
- Transport children to and from various centers twice a day
- Work as a team member
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Must meet all required deadlines
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Have prior maintenance experience
- Have a clean driving record
- Obtain all necessary clearances
This full-time position is Monday through Friday with working hours of 8:00 – 4:30 and reports directly to the COO.
