JOB GOAL:
Maintain the COPA system for LRSD in compliance with Arkansas Better Chance (ABC), while providing positive and professional services to families registering and inquiring about LRSD Programs.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Twelve (12) month 245 day contract, Grade/Range 05 – $28,019 – $48,685, plus benefits package. FLSA: Non-Exempt NOTE: Precise placement on the salary range will be determined by experience.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma. College hours preferred.
- Advanced computer skills (Word, Excel, Google Docs)
- Experience in communicating with the public, specifically diverse families.
- Evidence of strong interpersonal and organizational skills, including strong oral and written communication skills.
- Accounting skills include adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals, and percentages.
- Bilingual (Spanish) proficiency preferred
The superintendent may deem such alternatives and additions to the above qualifications appropriate as the Board may require.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following statements of duties and responsibilities describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position. - Provides positive face-to-face and phone assistance to families inquiring and registering for the LRSD early childhood programs.
- Collects and processes student registration paperwork.
- Implement and maintain the Child Outcome Planning and Administration (COPA) system for all prekindergarten classrooms.
- Maintain staff and student records in COPA as directed by ABC.
- Enters and maintains student information on multiple data systems for registration and assignment, including monitoring student attendance and entering student wellness data.
- Oversee and submit monthly billing for student attendance in LRSD prekindergarten.
- Coordinates with the Student Registration Office
- Assist with recruitment efforts for the program
- Other duties as assigned.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, go up and down stairs, operate foot and hand controls, use a telephone, write, and type. Occasionally, the employee must lift and/or move up to twenty (20) or more pounds. This position requires accurately perceiving sound, near and far vision, depth perception, handling and working with educational materials and/or objects, and providing oral information. Must be able to work for the duration of the daily contracted time, and be physically present and at assigned work, with only infrequent unexcused absences, during the contract year. Additional technical skills, knowledge, and abilities may be recommended by the Human Resources Director and approved by the immediate supervisor.
