Cash and Trade Processing Intermediate Associate Analyst

Overview:

The Cash and Trade Proc Analyst is responsible for supporting Liquidity Management Services (LMS) operational processes, ensuring accurate and timely execution of client requests, liquidity product servicing, and transaction-related activities. The role serves as a key contributor to daily operations, operational readiness initiatives, business continuity activities, and service delivery objectives while maintaining adherence to established procedures, controls, and regulatory requirements.

The individual partners closely with Operations, Product, Technology, Risk, Compliance, and Control teams to support process improvements, operational migrations, client onboarding, governance activities, audit engagements, and strategic business initiatives. The role is responsible for investigating and resolving operational issues, monitoring risk and control effectiveness, producing management reporting and performance metrics, and supporting a strong control environment that safeguards Citi, its clients, and its assets while delivering operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management of internal and external client queries
• Supports transactional processing
• Proactively identify client issues and solutions
• Review interest conditions on active accounts for troubleshooting
• Identify, analyze and resolve the re-calculation of interest accruals, reconciliation discrepancies and/or sweeps failures
• Point person for the transition, alignment, and stabilization efforts of critical operations functions, especially during service disruptions
• Assist as required for control, risk, daily activities, and projects
• Provide coverage and leadership across all our internal partners, Products, Client Services, Electronic Channels, Client Delivery, Implementations, Technology and Support areas
• Participate in and support resolution of system outages engaging with all relevant partners such Tech, Product and Client Service teams to mitigate client impact.
• Review internal processes, procedures and client issues and provide insights and potential recommendations
• Assist in the production of weekly, monthly and quarterly department reports

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of experience in a related role
• Proficient understanding of emerging technologies
• Effective verbal and written skills
• Effective analytic and presentation skills

Education:

• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience

Schedule:

• Evening Shift: Monday through Friday, 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM EST.
• Operational Flexibility & Overtime: Flexibility to work overtime and extended hours during peak processing cycles, month-end/quarter-end periods, or high-volume operational events as business needs require.
• Technology & Release Support: Availability to support scheduled weekend activities (approximately 3–5 weekend days per year) for technology deployments, Disaster Recovery (DR) testing, checkout validation, and system upgrade initiatives.
• Contingency Coverage: Willingness to provide schedule flexibility and shift coverage in support of business continuity plans or critical operational contingencies.
