Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, motivated Program Support Specialist to join our team. This role provides critical administrative and programmatic support to ensure the smooth operation of initiatives that serve childcare providers. The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood education, organized, and thrives in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Support the planning and execution of provider support programs and events
· Assist with outreach, communications, and data collection for recruitment and retention efforts
· Maintain program records, prepare reports, and ensure timely follow-ups
· Coordinate logistics for trainings, recognition events, and meetings
· Respond to inquiries from providers and community partners
· Collaborate with staff to identify and implement process improvements
Qualifications:
· Minimum of a Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or a Child Development Associate credential
· Experience in administrative, program support, or nonprofit work (early childhood education or social services a plus)
· Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
· Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Work Space and basic data entry systems
· Passion for supporting early childhood professionals and community-based work
