We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team. Duties
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, ensuring it is organized and free of debris.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including bussing tables and supporting cooks during busy service periods.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and sanitation standards are met.
- Help with the setup and breakdown of banquet events as required.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the kitchen manager promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of culinary practices, food handling, and sanitation standards is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
