Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with underwriting teams to support pricing strategy and decision-making
- Build and refine pricing tools to assess rate adequacy and portfolio performance
- Perform trend and portfolio analyses to generate actionable insights
- Collaborate cross-functionally to improve data quality and pricing processes
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to team development
Ideal Background:
- Actuarial background with pricing experience (specialty lines/reinsurance a plus)
- Strong foundation in actuarial and statistical pricing techniques
- Understanding of reinsurance and capital concepts
- Degree in Mathematics or a related field
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Excel; experience with VBA, SQL, Python, or R is a plus
- Effective communication skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
