Job Summary:
The 2nd Shift Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing production activities, maintaining safety standards, ensuring quality compliance, and guiding a team of hourly associates in a fast-paced automotive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of production staff during the 2nd shift.
- Complete shift reports, production logs, and communicate effectively with other shifts.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and promote a safe working environment.
- Monitor production schedules and adjust staffing levels as necessary to meet production targets.
- Conduct regular inspections of production processes to ensure quality standards are met.
- Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance skills and performance.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve production issues and improve efficiency.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency and waste reduction.
- Maintain accurate production records and reports for management review.
- 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or automotive environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.

- Ability to read and interpret production schedules, work instructions, and safety guidelines.
- Proficient with basic computer applications (Microsoft Office, ERP systems preferred).
