What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outside Sales Representative position at Eaheart Industrial Service, Inc?
The ideal candidate will prospect and generate new commercial business as well as perform cold-calls in the field to generate new permanent sales. This candidate should be able to support existing clients and have an ability to conduct product demonstrations.
Responsibilities
- Represents the company for the aftermarket sales (parts and service) of industrial equipment currently existing or being delivered to customers in a defined sales area
- Maintains current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment and services offered by the dealership
- Monitors competitive activity/products and timely communicates to management, accordingly
- Maintains all customer information in assigned territory for sales management
- Knows and follows a defined sales process
- Logs calls and uses CRM daily
- Maintains assigned company vehicles and equipment
- Assists with the preparation and execution of customer calls and sales
- Conducts equipment field inspections
- Monitors trends in customer’s business activities and timely communicates to management
- Attends applicable sales training events/seminars
- Maintain current knowledge of equipment values within the market affording the ability to evaluate properly for repair versus replace purposes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or related field
- Knowledge of forklift operational practices preferred.
- 2 years' experience in cold calling sales with strong track record of success
- Experience in developing and executing territory sales strategies
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals
