Senior Hydrogeologist - Groundwater Modeling/Hydraulic Analysis

Position Overview:
We are seeking to fill a senior level Hydrogeologist position. This position requires a minimum of 10 years of experience and a Bachelor of Science degree in Geological Sciences or related field. A Master of Science degree is preferred. The successful candidate will be involved in various projects primarily within Ohio and will be expected to travel as needed. Salary is commensurate with experience.
Key Responsibilities May Include:
- Groundwater Flow Modeling
- Wellfield Development, including
- Pumping test design and analyses
- Wellfield capacity estimates
- Source water protection
- Well performance evaluation
- Construction Dewatering Analyses, including
- Inflow estimates for large and small open cut excavations and structures associated with sewer projects
- Inflow estimates to deep shafts
- Determination of regulatory drawdown limits for mining operations
- Interfacing with regulatory agencies, clients, and team members
- Project management from budget development to providing clients with quality deliverables, which may include technical report writing/production, meetings with clients, etc.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Earth Science (Geology/Hydrogeology) or Groundwater Resources Management, or related field
- 10 years of groundwater experience
Core Competencies:
- Proficient in MODFLOW/Groundwater Vistas software
- Competent in MS Office Suite programs
- Understanding of ArcGIS
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to prioritize and manage workloads
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong technical expertise
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
