Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our early childhood education team. Responsibilities
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote early childhood development, including preschool, toddler care, and infant care.
- Provide attentive supervision and care to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Manage classroom routines, including meal times, nap schedules, and play periods, with effective classroom management techniques.
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing individualized attention as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment conducive to learning and play.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and any concerns.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum plans that support developmental milestones in early childhood education.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Experience with classroom management and behavior management strategies.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable; willingness to obtain certification if not already certified.
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and team members.
- Passion for nurturing young children’s growth and development in a caring environment.
