Daycare Teacher

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment for children of various ages, supporting their developmental milestones through creative activities and attentive caregiving. This role is essential in fostering a positive learning atmosphere and promoting social, emotional, and cognitive growth among young learners.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote early childhood development, including preschool, toddler care, and infant care.
• Provide attentive supervision and care to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Manage classroom routines, including meal times, nap schedules, and play periods, with effective classroom management techniques.
• Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing individualized attention as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment conducive to learning and play.
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and any concerns.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum plans that support developmental milestones in early childhood education.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings is preferred.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
• Experience with classroom management and behavior management strategies.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable; willingness to obtain certification if not already certified.
• Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and team members.
• Passion for nurturing young children’s growth and development in a caring environment.
