What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Designated Coordinator position at Eagles Wing Inc?
Responsibilities
a. Ensure that all people, at sites supervised, are regarded with dignity and respect in all interactions.
b. Provide open, respectful, and consistent communication to consumers, guardians, and case managers.
c. Assess, develop, and implement consumer programs and health care plans as specified by the Interdisciplinary Team
d. Evaluate consumer programs on a weekly basis. Provide feedback to the Designated Coordinator or District Manager.
f. Report all potential maltreatment matter to the Designated Coordinator or District Manager.
g. Help maintain complete, accurate, current, and orderly consumer records.
h. Maintain confidentiality of all consumer records.
a. Implement company personnel policies and procedures at the local site.
b. Provide site specific orientation and ongoing training to Direct Care Staff.
c. Help manage staffing schedules and fill in for direct care employees as required.
d. Monitor employee performance and report feedback to Designated Coordinator or District Manager.
e. Communicate performance issues requiring disciplinary action to the Designated Coordinator or District Manager.
g. Attend Monthly Staff Meetings to communicate information, provide training opportunities, address consumer needs, and provide an avenue for discussion of concerns and ideas from the staff.
h. Acts as a mentor to other employees of the site and promotes teamwork.
i. Maintain confidentiality of all personnel & their files.
a. Promotes positive and respectful relationships with consumers, families, guardians, and community representatives, and other professionals.
a. Evaluate property, furnishings, vehicle, and equipment conditions on an ongoing basis. Assure completion of preventative and ongoing maintenance and repairs.
b. Ensures home is clean and assists with and assigns cleaning and organizing to maintain a cleaned and safe living environment. Promptly report any areas in need of repair to Designated Coordinator or District Manager. Take steps to minimize further damage or reduce any safety concerns immediately.
c. Ensure that the site safety plans and emergency procedures are implemented. Report any safety concerns to Designated Coordinator or District Manager.
General Responsibilities
a. Respond immediately in the event of an emergency to protect the health, safety, and well being of the people served.
b. Implement the company’s mission, policies, and procedures to the meet the goals for the organization.
c. Comply with federal, state, and local licensing rules and regulations with the operation of the site.
d. Attend training to enhance personal and professional development.
e. Perform other duties as assigned by Designated Coordinator or District Manager.
f. Responsible to complete entire scheduled shift unless absence is approved by Designated Coordinator or District Manager and a replacement is found for any time that will be missed that is Direct Care hours.
