Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards
• Manage classroom behavior and create a safe, respectful learning environment
• Utilize effective behavior management techniques to support student engagement and discipline
• Incorporate special education strategies to accommodate diverse learning needs
• Provide first aid and respond appropriately to emergencies or student health concerns
• Support students' social-emotional development through counseling or guidance as needed
• Organize extracurricular activities such as sports coaching, theater, or childcare programs
• Collaborate with parents, guardians, and colleagues to monitor student progress and address individual needs
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student achievements
• Foster a nurturing environment that promotes childhood development, early childhood education, and positive behavior

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Child Development, or related field; teaching certification preferred
• Experience working with children in classroom settings, daycare, camp, tutoring, or childcare environments
• Strong classroom management skills and knowledge of behavior management techniques
• Experience with special education needs and inclusive teaching strategies is a plus
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices
• Ability to provide first aid and handle emergency situations effectively
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with students, parents, and colleagues
• Passion for teaching, mentoring, and supporting children's growth in academic and social areas
