Responsibilities

- Manage classroom behavior and create a safe, respectful learning environment
- Utilize effective behavior management techniques to support student engagement and discipline
- Incorporate special education strategies to accommodate diverse learning needs
- Provide first aid and respond appropriately to emergencies or student health concerns
- Support students' social-emotional development through counseling or guidance as needed
- Organize extracurricular activities such as sports coaching, theater, or childcare programs
- Collaborate with parents, guardians, and colleagues to monitor student progress and address individual needs
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student achievements
- Foster a nurturing environment that promotes childhood development, early childhood education, and positive behavior
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Child Development, or related field; teaching certification preferred
- Experience working with children in classroom settings, daycare, camp, tutoring, or childcare environments
- Strong classroom management skills and knowledge of behavior management techniques
- Experience with special education needs and inclusive teaching strategies is a plus
