Duties
- Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks and courier vans, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload packages efficiently
- Plan and follow optimized delivery routes to maximize efficiency and meet delivery deadlines
- Deliver packages directly to customers’ homes or businesses with professionalism and a friendly attitude
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks during loading, unloading, or moving packages as needed
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and completion records
- Communicate proactively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status or any issues encountered on the route
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving preferred
- Prior delivery driver experience or courier background is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with a positive, professional demeanor
- Physical ability to lift heavy packages regularly and perform manual tasks such as moving boxes
- Knowledge of route driving, load & unload procedures, and safety protocols for heavy lifting and moving tasks
