The Business Banking Operations Manager drives the credit process by facilitating the collection of financial information; spreads financial data; prepares, and submits credit packages for review and approval; reviews loan documentation for accuracy and of others; actively participates in the management of loan maturities, collection of past due accounts, and clearing of documentation exceptions. Actively participates in the management, servicing, and growth of the small business lending portfolio to meet departmental profitability metrics. The Operations Manager is also responsible for managing the SBL and SBA operations and their respective staff to ensure workload coordination and timely delivery of completed loan packages.
Qualifications:
Requirements:
- H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- 7 years in Lending Operations or Administration
- Proficient in LaserPro
- Proficient with Baker Hill NextGen
- Work effectively in a fast paced, high pressure environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Knowledge of credit and underwriting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; specifically, Word, Excel and Outlook
- Knowledge of banking products and services
- Ability to use related computer systems including SBA and B2B systems
Preferences:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS)
- 3 years supervisory experience
- Formal credit training
