- Handle materials safely using forklifts and other materials handling equipment within the manufacturing facility.
- Conduct quality control inspections throughout the production process to identify defects or deviations from specifications.
- Maintain accurate documentation of production activities, machine settings, and inspection results for compliance and continuous improvement purposes.
- Collaborate with team members on assembly line tasks including fabrication, welding, tooling setup, packaging, and finishing processes.
- Follow safety protocols diligently, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues at all times.
Experience
- Proven factory or manufacturing experience
- Hands-on knowledge of mechanical systems, tooling setup, and fabrication techniques including welding and stamping press operations.
- Ability to use hand tools effectively for assembly line tasks and materials handling equipment like forklifts.
- Strong understanding of quality control procedures using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
- Previous warehouse or factory experience emphasizing safety standards and efficient workflow management is preferred.
- Basic math skills necessary for measuring dimensions, calculating tolerances, and adjusting machine parameters accurately.
