Employment Type: Full-Time, Year Round
Pay Range: $70,000 – $85,000 – based on experience and qualifications
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm. Expected to work some special events during weekends and/or outside of regular working hours.

The Marketing & Communications Manager is a hands-on storyteller and project manager who brings EVCF's mission to life across digital, print, media, and community channels. This role manages day-to-day communications for EVCF and its three programs while helping maintain a cohesive organizational brand.
The ideal candidate combines strong writing and visual judgment with excellent organization. They can move comfortably between creating a social media post, updating a webpage, interviewing a program participant, coordinating an event campaign, and reviewing performance data. This is an excellent opportunity for an emerging marketing professional ready to take ownership, deepen their skills, and grow as part of a collaborative nonprofit team.

Duties Include
- Content, Storytelling & Brand Management.
- Develop clear, engaging, dignity-centered content that demonstrates EVCF's impact and reflects the voices and experiences of the community.
- Create and edit content for newsletters, donor communications, impact reports, website pages, social media, print materials, presentations, and community outreach.
- Partner with the team to execute annual fundraising, donor stewardship, community education, and awareness campaigns.
- Work with bilingual staff and trusted translation resources to produce accurate, accessible English- and Spanish-language communications. Adapt messaging for different audiences and channels while maintaining cultural responsiveness, dignity, and clarity.
- Associate’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism, or business administration preferred
- Minimum Work Experience: two to four years of relevant experience in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism, nonprofit storytelling, or a related field.
- Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adjust tone for different audiences.
- Working knowledge of common marketing and design platforms such as Canva, WordPress, MailChimp, Adobe, and social scheduling tools.
- Professional proficiency in both English and Spanish; bilingual and bicultural candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
- EVCF and program communications are timely, accurate, welcoming, and visually consistent.
- Community members can easily find and understand how to access services, participate, volunteer, partner, or give.
- Impact stories reflect community voices with care and strengthen trust among participants, partners, volunteers, and donors.
- Campaigns and events are supported by clear plans, coordinated assets, dependable follow-through, and useful performance insights.
- Program staff experience marketing as an organized, responsive, and collaborative partner.
