Job Responsibilities:
Position supports the P-8A Joint Program Office (JPO) IPT in the MPRA Program Office (PMA-290). This position requires knowledge of IPT organizational concepts, major weapon system acquisition, program management, financial/TWB/spend plan management, contract management, and development of program documents. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently. Performance of other tasks may be required on an as-needed basis. Qualifications and Requirements:
- This position requires a BA or BS degree in Business Management, or relevant technical discipline and a minimum of three (3) years of experience in program management or technical/business analysis discipline related to weapon systems acquisition and life cycle management. An AA/AS plus two (2) years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for the BA/BS; or a high school diploma/GED and four (4) years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for the BA/BS.
- Experience with procurement package processing, and NAVAIR contracting processes is required, as well as with PPCs, PPAs, SOWs, PIDs, PRs, RFPs, TechEvals, and program milestone tracking.
- Experience with JPO shared and unique funding, N-ERP, AMS tools (i.e., CSPT, PMT, and CDRL tool) is desired. Knowledge of mission/training systems, avionics, subsystems, ECPs, maintenance/logistics, and GFE management is desired. Experience working with large DoW contractors is also desired.
- Must be highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
- A current SECRET security clearance is required.
- Salary Range: $80-115K, negotiable
