The Maintenance Mechanic supports the maintenance department by ensuring proper and safe operation of machinery and mechanical equipment. Responsible for:
- Proper setup and/or adjustment of machines to ensure constant and reliable machine operation.
- Providing a cost-effective rapid response to repair needs.
- Continually observing and assessing machines and any process and procedure improvements for machine efficiencies and production flow; communicates and recommends changes, as required, to Maintenance Supervisor.
Required Skills
- Working skillfully with a variety of power and hand tools
- Basic math competencies
- Proper use of the English language
