Role Overview
The Trampoline and Tumbling Coach exists to support the delivery of both Recreational and Competitive Trampoline and Tumbling programs at the Eagles Wings Athletics Anna location. This role focuses on leading safe, structured practices and classes for athletes ranging from beginner recreational students through competitive Levels 1–7 while developing the team to higher levels.
This position contributes to the core functions of Recreational Program Delivery and Competitive Team Development within the Trampoline and Tumbling program.
The position is structured for approximately 16–24 hours per week with the potential to expand to full-time depending on program needs and coach availability.
Compensation is based on experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesCompetitive Trampoline and Tumbling Team Coaching
- Coach scheduled team practices for Trampoline and Tumbling athletes competing in Levels 1–7 eventually, levels 8 .
- Lead event training across all three event rotations, and conditioning.
- Provide technical feedback and safe spotting during skill development.
- Assist athletes in preparing routines and required skills for competition.
- Support meet preparation including routine consistency and basic readiness for competition.
Recreational Class Instruction
- Coach assigned recreational tumbling or T&T classes according to the weekly schedule.
- Deliver organized classes that keep athletes active, learning, and safe.
- Teach foundational tumbling and trampoline skills appropriate for each class level.
- Track attendance and manage class transitions.
Athlete Safety, Skill Development, and Program Support
- Maintain safe spotting practices and enforce equipment safety standards.
- Recognize when athletes are ready to progress to new skills.
- Provide corrections that help athletes improve technique and confidence.
- Maintain awareness of athlete readiness and physical limitations during training.
- Follow training structure and program standards set by the Head Trampoline and Tumbling Coach.
- Participate in team practices, meetings, or occasional staff training as scheduled.
- Assist with basic meet preparation or team-related activities when requested.
- Help maintain a positive training environment for athletes and families.
3. Qualifications
- Previous coaching or athletic experience in Trampoline and Tumbling required.
- Familiarity with Trampoline and Tumbling competition structure (Levels 1–7).
- Ability to safely spot tumbling and trampoline skills appropriate to the level being coached.
- Strong understanding of basic tumbling progressions and trampoline technique.
- Ability to manage groups of youth athletes in a structured class or practice setting.
- Willingness to follow program structure and direction from the Head T&T Coach.
- Strong communication and reliability in scheduled coaching hours.
