Job Summary:
We are looking for a passionate Daycare Teacher to join our team and provide exceptional care and early childhood education to young children. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment to promote the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of the children in our care.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum to stimulate children's learning and development.
- Provide a safe and secure environment for children to feel comfortable.
- Supervise and monitor children during indoor and outdoor activities.
- Collaborate with parents to ensure the best possible outcomes for their children.
- Maintain open communication with colleagues and parents regarding children's progress and behavior.
- Ensure the daycare facility is clean, organized, and meets all health and safety regulations.
- Administer first aid when necessary and ensure the well-being of all children in the daycare.
Skills:
- Previous experience in childcare is a must (minimum of 2 years) or a degree in early childhood education or similar field.
- Strong caregiving skills with a passion to educate young minds.
- Knowledge of childcare practices and early childhood education principles.
- Ability to manage a classroom of young children effectively.
- Clearances are mandatory (PA Child Abuse, PA Criminal History, FBI, NSOR).
- Mandated reporter training is mandatory.
- Certification in pediatric first aid and CPR is mandatory.
- References required.
