Training & Compensation
New coaches begin at a training rate of $7.75/hour while learning ERGA's coaching expectations, class structure, curriculum, safety procedures, skill progressions and spotting techniques.
The training period may last up to 40 hours, depending on the employee's previous experience, progress and how quickly they demonstrate the ability to safely and effectively perform the responsibilities of the position. Employees who demonstrate proficiency sooner may complete training in fewer than 40 hours.
After successfully completing training, coaches move to their regular hourly rate based on experience, demonstrated coaching ability and the responsibilities they are qualified to perform.
