Transfer Driver (CDL Required)

Monday-Friday

Transfer product from the Loveland warehouse to the Denver

cross dock. 3 to 4 loads a day. Perform daily pre/post trips.

Job Duties

• Honors all personal and business commitments to all customers
• Operates company vehicle safely, courteously, and obeys all
  
  

traffic regulations

• Responsible for completion of all sales tickets, obtaining
  
  

payment for product at all accounts, POD's collected and all

related paperwork.

• Completion of daily Check In/Out process, DOT pre-trips and
  
  

post-trips.

• Other duties as assigned
  
  

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid Class A CDL and DOT medical card required
• Clear motor vehicle record for the past three (3) years required
• Previous driving and/or delivery experience preferred
• Must be at least 21 years of age

• Must have excellent customer service skills

• Must be able to meet company MVR standard
• Excellent communication skills with customers and co-workers
• Must demonstrate an ability to operate company vehicles and
  
  

equipment safely and effectively

• Must be able to work independently, exercising sound judgment
  
  

and initiative.

• Must be able to think critically, adapt to change and utilize
  
  

available resources to solve problems

Physical Demands and Requirements

• Regular standing, walking, bending, reaching and twisting for
  
  

shifts lasting 8 hours

• May require sitting or standing for extended periods.
• Regularly lifts and/or moves items weighing up to 40 lbs. without
  
  

assistance

• Occasionally requires the ability to lift over 170 lbs. with or
  
  

without assistance

• Requires pushing and pulling of loads up to approximately 350
  
  

lbs. with or without assistance

Environmental Conditions and Temperament

• Job duties are performed in warehouse, at loading dock and
  
  

inside and outside retail buildings.

• Exposure to outside weather (heat and cold), walk-in cooler
  
  

temperatures, exposure to fumes, vibrations and noise levels.

• Ability to maintain a professional image in public eye while
  
  

performing the duties.

Compensation And Benefits

Compensation range: $30.00 per hour

(Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.)
