We are seeking a skilled and experienced ORV / SNOW Technician to join our team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining ORV / SNOW and other powersports equipment. The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical aptitude, solid troubleshooting skills, and a passion for providing exceptional service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnostics and Repair: Perform accurate diagnostics on ORV / SNOW engines, electrical, and mechanical issues using Polaris / Arctic Cat-specific diagnostic software and specialized tools.
  • Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections, including oil changes, chaincase service, and track adjustments, in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
  • Engine Work: Conduct all levels of engine and transmission repairs, from top-end rebuilds to complete overhauls.
  • Customer Service: Clearly communicate service findings, explain repair recommendations, and provide cost and time estimates to customers.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Parts Department to order necessary components and with Service Advisors to ensure a smooth workflow.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate records of all work performed and parts used.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with new technologies and service procedures by participating in factory-sponsored and in-house training programs.
  • Certifications: Technical diploma or certification in powersports mechanics is preferred. Polaris manufacturer certifications are a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in mechanical, electrical, and fuel systems, including modern electronic fuel injection (EFI) systems.
  • Physical Ability: Must have the physical stamina and dexterity to lift heavy parts, work in various positions, and use hand and power tools safely.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with strong attention to detail.
