About the Role
The Elementary Physical Education Teacher provides standards-based physical education instruction designed to help students
develop physical fitness, motor skills, and an appreciation for healthy lifestyles. The successful candidate will create engaging lessons
that support participation, teamwork, and personal growth while maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Responsibilities include planning and delivering developmentally appropriate PE lessons, supervising students during activities, and maintaining equipment
and safety procedures, and collaborating with school staff to support the overall educational program.

Who We\'re Looking For
Applicants must hold or be eligible for an Oregon Teaching License with appropriate endorsement(s). Candidates should demonstrate strong
classroom management skills, the ability to build positive relationships with students, and a commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Ideal candidates bring enthusiasm for physical education, creativity in lesson design, and a collaborative mindset when working with colleagues and
families to support student success.

Position Title: Elementary Physical Education Teacher
Placement: Shady Cove School, Shady Cove, Oregon
Supervisor: Principal or designee
Contract Days: 193/194 days to begin August 2026
Salary Range: No less than $46,548 - $90,846 plus master\'s stipend of $2,327 (depending upon approved previous experience and graduate level credits).
Salary listed indicates current 2023-2026 Collective Bargaining Agreement - subject to change
The position will begin in August 2026, with screening to begin immediately.
