Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Plumbing Service Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the bridge between our plumbing technicians and customers, ensuring excellent service experiences while driving sales of plumbing repairs, maintenance, and service agreements. This role requires strong communication skills, basic plumbing knowledge, and the ability to identify customer needs and present solutions that align with our company’s standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and engage customers (in-person, by phone, or online) in a professional and friendly manner.
Assess customer plumbing needs and recommend appropriate services, repairs, or solutions.
Prepare and present service estimates, proposals, and pricing options clearly.
Promote maintenance programs, upgrades, and add-on services to maximize value for the customer.
Work closely with plumbing technicians to ensure accurate service recommendations.
Follow up with customers on open estimates, service reminders, and satisfaction checks.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales, and service orders in the company CRM system.
Meet or exceed monthly sales goals and performance targets.
Stay informed on plumbing services, products, and promotions offered by the company.
Provide exceptional customer service to build long-term relationships and repeat business.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in sales, customer service, or the plumbing service industry is preferred.
Basic understanding of plumbing services and terminology (training will be provided).
Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to explain technical information in simple, customer-friendly terms.
Goal-oriented with a proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
Proficient in using computers, CRM systems, and mobile apps.
Reliable, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
High school diploma or equivalent (some college or trade knowledge is a plus).
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
May occasionally accompany technicians on-site to review customer needs.
