The Landscaper will be responsible for the routine maintenance of the grounds and their utility requirements.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain all lawn areas by mowing, weed eating, and edging.
- Maintain all exterior trash receptacles.
- Properly depose all exterior trash and debris.
- Prune and trim trees and shrubs as needed.
- Cleans road gutters, culverts, and other water drainage structures.
- Maintain and repair the sprinkler system and equipment.
- Perform weekly inspections as outlined on all equipment and systems.
- Report any major repair needs or requests for tools and supplies immediately.
- Must attend and be certified in all applicable training programs required.
- All other departmental duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- Minimum one (1) year experience and background in landscaping or related field.
- Knowledge and use of all hand tools, manual tools, and power tools.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- If driving is required for company business, must have a valid driver’s license, and be insurable through the casino’s insurance carrier.
- Able to obtain and retain a gaming license through the Tule River Tribe Gaming Commission.
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL:
- While performing duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
- Required to reach with hands and arms and to climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, and walking on slippery surfaces.
- Must be able to perform in outdoor environments with frequent exposure to unpredictable weather conditions including heat, rain, cold, and wind.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Exposed to water and planting materials, including fertilizer, daily.
- Must be able to perform the essential duties of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
