Heavy Duty Operator

Description

SUMMARY

The Heavy Duty Cleaner will perform all necessary duties as follows;

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Deep clean and maintain facility, including the break areas.
2. Vacuum the Casino, including the Restaurant and the Administration building.
3. Shampoo carpets in the Casino, including the Restaurant and the Administration building on a regular schedule.
4. Spot clean and wipe down chairs and furniture in all Casino buildings.
5. Clean air conditioning vents in all Casino buildings.
6. Deep clean and scrub all areas in restrooms in all Casino buildings.
7. Clean all windows in all Casino buildings.
8. Remove cobwebs in all areas inside and outside of all Casino buildings.
9. Must attend and be certified in all applicable trainings required.
10. All other departmental duties as assigned.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

1. Must have one (1) year experience in deep cleaning work.
2. Must have basic knowledge of the use and safe handling of cleaning chemicals.
3. Understanding of health and safety codes, including knowledge of hazardous materials
4. If Driving is required for company business must be on approved driving list, have a valid Driver License and be insurable through the Tule River Tribe.
5. Able to obtain and retain a gaming license through the Tule River Tribe Gaming Commission.

PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL:

1. While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to stand for entire shift, walk, sit, talk and hear.
2. Repeatedly required to reach with hands, arms and use hand to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls.
3. Occasionally required to and to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
4. Must be able to operate in mentally and physically stressful situations.
5. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
6. Must be able to work in a noisy and smoke filled environment.
7. Noise level is moderate to high on the casino floor.
8. Exposed daily to flashing lights and ringing bells.
9. Must be able to perform all essential duties of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
