Eagle Magnetic | Reports to CEO/President

Own the challenge. Earn the trust. Build your future.

You see a complicated customer drawing and start figuring out how to make it work. You follow up because your word matters. You want responsibility, welcome a challenge, and take pride in helping your team deliver.

At Eagle Magnetic, that mindset belongs here.

We’re looking for an Inside Sales Manager with technical ability, commercial instincts, and the drive to turn customer needs into well-executed work. Someone who asks good questions, moves opportunities forward, and stays invested from the first inquiry through production.

This is a hands-on role with real breadth. You’ll connect customers, sales, vendors, engineering, and the production floor—helping determine what we can manufacture, how we should manufacture it, and what it will take to deliver it successfully. Your work will influence customer relationships, product quality, efficiency, and Eagle’s ability to win business.

If you’re hungry to learn, ready to contribute, and looking for a company where you can build a lasting career, we want to hear from you.

The Opportunity

You will help develop customer and company products, provide technical support, prepare accurate quotes, and guide orders into production. You’ll also contribute to sourcing, quality improvement, research and development, and the systems that keep our operation moving.

Success takes initiative and follow-through. Customers need answers. Production needs clear information. Sales needs a dependable technical partner. You’ll help bring those pieces together.

What You’ll Own

Quoting, sales support, and customer relationships

  • Prepare accurate quotes with a strong sense of urgency, using customer prints, specifications, and manufacturing requirements.
  • Follow up on quotes, answer technical questions, and help customers move toward a decision.
  • Enter customer purchase orders, send quote letters and order confirmations, and maintain complete records.
  • Communicate clearly about design questions, production issues, complaints, and rejected products.
  • Provide dependable technical and product support to customers and the sales team.

Engineering and production coordination

  • Review designs, drawings, specifications, fabrication methods, and tolerances to confirm Eagle can meet customer requirements.
  • Identify missing information and resolve questions before work reaches production.
  • Determine how parts should be fabricated; create models and drawings to support manufacturing.
  • Reverse engineer parts when needed and work with applicable government and military specifications.
  • Coordinate with the machine shop, toolmakers, and production team to address questions and solve problems.
  • Process orders from sales to the shop, review or create routers in MIETrak, and issue and print work orders.
  • Review purchasing requirements and issue purchase orders.
  • Maintain organized engineering books, drawings, specifications, files, and supporting documentation.

Product knowledge, sourcing, and innovation

  • Develop a thorough understanding of the materials and processes Eagle sells or distributes, including how customers use them.
  • Understand the capabilities and limitations of products manufactured in-house and overseas.
  • Source products for customer orders and communicate with domestic and overseas vendors.
  • Find and evaluate suppliers that improve reliability, cost competitiveness, or both.
  • Monitor significant changes in raw material and finished goods lead times and communicate their impact.
  • Maintain vendor sourcing and engineering files.
  • Research new materials, tools, and production methods that expand capabilities, reduce costs, improve efficiency, strengthen quality, and enhance customer satisfaction.

Quality and continuous improvement

  • Understand Eagle’s quality policy and goals and incorporate them into daily decisions.
  • Obtain and document customer requirements and confirm procedures support meeting them.
  • Document customer complaints and help resolve the issues behind them.
  • Look for practical ways to improve quality, processes, and the customer experience.

Technical systems and operational support

  • Maintain the MIETrak database, modify reports, install updates, and help train and support users.
  • Install and update FabriWin and Fabrivision software.
  • Provide backup programming support for FabriWin, laser and punch presses, and Surf CAM 2000.
  • Provide backup programming and operation of the Fabrivision machine.
  • Program and operate CMM and Virtual DMIS software.
  • Use AutoCAD, Mechanical Desktop, and Inventor 2010; assist and train AutoCAD and Inventor users.
  • Download and process customer CAD data.
  • Maintain and modify the website and support internet connections, email accounts, and general computer needs.
  • Maintain and repair computers, network components, and printers; recommend hardware and software based on user and company needs.

What You Bring

  • A B.S. in engineering or equivalent qualifications, with technical experience. CAD experience is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills, with the ability to understand a technical problem and work toward a practical solution.
  • Clear written and verbal communication with customers, suppliers, sales professionals, and production personnel.
  • Strong organization and the ability to manage competing priorities without losing the details.
  • Working proficiency with Windows, Outlook, Excel, Word, and internet browsers, plus technical software capabilities relevant to the responsibilities above, including AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Pro-E.
  • Dependability, sound judgment, curiosity, and initiative.
  • A willingness to travel approximately 10–15%, with additional travel possible depending on the size and location of the sales team.

The Mindset That Matters

You take ownership. When something needs attention, you step in, ask questions, and keep it moving.

You’re hungry to improve. You want to understand the product, sharpen your skills, and contribute more as you grow.

You follow through. You close the loop, communicate changes, and do what you say you will do.

You enjoy variety. Moving between a customer conversation, a technical drawing, a vendor question, and a production challenge keeps you engaged.

You build trust. You’re honest about what you know, what needs to be resolved, and what you can deliver.

You invest in the team. You want to build lasting relationships, share knowledge, and help the people around you succeed.

Our Culture: High Standards. Shared Success.

At Eagle, we believe growth follows the effort to become better—individually and together. We value different perspectives, creative thinking, and people who bring enthusiasm to their work.

Our family environment means treating people with compassion, investing in relationships, and pulling together when challenges arise. We believe people succeed with clear direction, useful structure, and opportunities to stretch their abilities.

Accountability matters here. When we make a mistake, we own it, learn from it, and move forward. Truth, honesty, loyalty, integrity, and respect guide how we work with one another and with the people who count on us.

We want teammates who care about the quality of their work and the strength of their relationships. People who take pride in achievement and want to contribute to something that lasts.

Room to Grow

This role offers exposure across the business and the opportunity to build a broad, valuable skill set. Potential future paths include outside sales, operations management, purchasing, and quality control, depending on your strengths, performance, and business needs.

Bring initiative, earn trust, and make a meaningful contribution. We value people who are ready to grow.
