About the Role:
The Warehouse Manager at GLOBOPHARMA will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations to ensure efficient, accurate, and timely processing of goods. This role is critical in managing the flow of inventory, coordinating shipping and receiving activities, and maintaining optimal stock levels to support the supply chain. The Warehouse Manager will lead a team to implement best practices in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control, ensuring compliance with international shipping regulations. By optimizing distribution center processes, the manager will contribute to reducing operational costs and improving customer satisfaction. Ultimately, this position ensures that GLOBOPHARMA’s warehouse functions seamlessly to support global pharmaceutical distribution needs.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse operations or management, preferably within a distribution center environment.
- Proven knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control processes.
- Experience with international shipping procedures and compliance requirements.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Supply Chain Management or Logistics (e.g., APICS, CSCMP).
- Experience working in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Familiarity with advanced inventory optimization techniques and lean warehouse practices.
- Proficiency in multiple languages relevant to international shipping and trade.
- Experience with ERP systems integration related to warehouse operations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, order picking, and inventory control to meet company standards and deadlines.
- Supervise and train warehouse staff to maintain high productivity and adherence to safety protocols.
- Coordinate international shipping logistics, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and timely delivery.
- Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track inventory levels, process orders, and generate reports for management.
- Collaborate with supply chain and distribution teams to optimize warehouse layout and workflow for maximum efficiency.
