Director of Marketing

Eagle Industries
New Orleans, LA Full Time
POSTED ON 7/6/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 12/27/2026

The Director of Marketing leads Eagle's marketing function and owns the brand. Reporting to the President, you'll set strategy for positioning, demand generation, channel and distributor marketing, and trade shows, while leading a four-person team (Marketing Operations Specialist, Graphic Designer, Content Coordinator, and Marketing Assistant). This is a working leader role: the Ops Specialist runs the day-to-day execution of the marketing technology stack, freeing you to shape strategy, drive the brand, and stay close enough to the work to execute alongside the team on what matters most. You'll partner with Sales, Product, and Operations to deliver pipeline and revenue in the industrial safety materials market.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead Eagle’s brand communications. Tell our story consistently across the website, collateral, social, packaging, and every customer touchpoint, building on the warm, personality-driven voice that already resonates with our customers and team.
  • Own the strategic marketing fundamentals: product positioning, pricing communication, promotional planning, and channel and distributor marketing. Get the right message to the right audience efficiently and consistently.
  • Build and execute the annual marketing plan and lead demand generation across digital channels (SEO, paid search, email, social) and traditional B2B channels.
  • Partner with Sales on enablement and product launches, including case studies, sell sheets, proposal content, and go-to-market plans.
  • Plan and execute trade shows, industry events, and customer-facing programs; represent Eagle at industry events and customer meetings as needed.
  • Set the strategy for Eagle’s marketing technology stack, including HubSpot, Syndigo, and AI-enabled workflows. Direct the Marketing Operations Specialist on execution and ensure the stack scales with the business.
  • Use business intelligence and marketing analytics to inform decisions, prove ROI, and adjust programs based on what the data shows.
  • Lead, manage, and develop the four-person marketing team, executing alongside them on key deliverables when needed.
  • Manage the marketing budget and outside vendor relationships, including agencies, designers, printers, and freelance contractors.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 7 years of progressive marketing experience, including at least 2 years managing or leading teams.
  • Strong command of strategic marketing fundamentals: positioning, pricing, promotion, and channel strategy. This is not a graphics role or a sales support role.
  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation, CRM, Google Analytics, and digital advertising platforms.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to run multiple initiatives in parallel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable presenting to executives, customers, and partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to use data to make decisions and prove ROI.
  • Track record of being both strategic and hands-on. Comfortable building the plan and doing the work.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Adobe Creative Suite (or equivalent design tools).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in a B2B advertising or marketing agency with multiple commercial clients, or current/recent Marketing Director experience at a commercial products company.
  • HubSpot certifications or experience administering a HubSpot instance (Marketing Hub, Sales Hub, or both). Eagle is in the process of transitioning to HubSpot.
  • B2B marketing experience in distribution, manufacturing, construction products, or industrial safety, ideally including a distributor or dealer channel.
  • Trade show and event program management experience.
  • Familiarity with construction industry buyers (contractors, project managers, safety directors, EHS leaders).
