Job title: Entry Level CNC Machinist Apprentice
Reports to: Foreman
Supervisory responsibilities: None.
Summary/objective: Eagle Industrial Group (EIG) is looking for a Entry Level CNC Apprentice to add to their team! This position is ideal for candidates with little to no CNC experience that have a good work ethic and a willingness to learn - on the job training will be provided.
EIG offers a clean facility, modern/new CNC machines, steady workflow from various industries, and a great atmosphere - a fast paced but rewarding environment!
Essential functions:
- On the job training will be provided for all essential machine functions.
- Candidate must keep work area clean.
- Candidate must follow all safety rules and report unsafe work conditions to management.
- Candidate must have regular attendance at work during scheduled work hours.
Required competency, education, and experience:
- Candidate must have high school diploma or equivalent education.
- Candidate must have valid driver’s license.
Preferred education and experience:
- Basic mechanical aptitude, basic computer knowledge.
Work environment: Manufacturing environment
Physical demands:
- Candidate must have full use of all limbs.
- Candidate must be able to read and speak English.
- Candidate must be able to lift 40 pounds.
Position type and expected hours of work: Full time. Day shift - 45 to 50 hours/week. Starting pay is $13-$15/hour.
Travel: None.
