We’re seeking a Lead Low Voltage Technician with expertise in access control, CCTV, and integrated low voltage systems. This role focuses on installation, service, troubleshooting, and project oversight of electronic safety and security systems in commercial environments.
What You’ll Do
- Install, program, test, service, and certify electronic low voltage systems including:
- CCTV systems (IP/analog)
- Access control systems
- Security alarm systems
- Intercom, voice/data, nurse call, and sound systems
- Troubleshoot system issues and perform maintenance to ensure peak performance
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and system schematics
- Coordinate tools, materials, and site safety for assigned projects
- Maintain accurate documentation and system logs
- Interface with customers and general contractors to ensure satisfaction and timely project delivery
- Train and mentor junior technicians as needed
- High school diploma or GED required
- 4 years of hands-on low voltage installation/service experience
- NICET Level I certification or ability to obtain
- Familiarity with access control hardware/software, CCTV/IP video, and security panel programming
- Comfortable with system programming tools and computer-based configuration
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently or as part of a crew
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- NICET Level II or higher
- EST3 / EST IO64 / IO1000 / Firelite ES-50X
