Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Assist in menu planning and food preparation for special events or catering services.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and storage practices.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our guests.
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service or as a cook in a professional kitchen setting.
- Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques, and safety standards.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with dietary department practices is preferred but not required.
