Position Overview
This position is administrative rather than clinical in nature.
The selected candidate will receive training in all aspects of front office and administrative workflow, including:
- Answering incoming calls
- Scheduling patient appointments
- Checking patients in and out
- Collecting and processing patient payments
- Running insurance eligibility checks
- Processing faxes and incoming referrals
- Answering patient billing questions
- Assisting patients with account balances and collections
- Assisting with medication and surgical prior authorizations
- Running daily financial and audit reports
- Maintaining accurate patient documentation
- Supporting front office workflow efficiency
- Communicating professionally with patients, providers, and staff
Over time, candidates demonstrating strong performance may have the opportunity to:
- Assist with workflow improvement
- Support staff training
- Take on expanded administrative responsibilities
- Grow into front office supervisory responsibilities
Training
All staff, regardless of prior experience, will receive comprehensive dermatology-specific training.

Compensation Growth
Starting wage: $18.00/hour during 90-day probationary period
Wage increases to $20.00/hour after successful completion of probation
