Airport Maintenance Technician I Hiring Range: $23.39 - $27.48
Airport Maintenance Technician II Hiring Range: $25.26 - $29.68.
Airport Maintenance Technician III Hiring Range: $26.71 - $32.05
Eagle County Government is looking to fill one position, however, we are willing to consider applicants of all levels. See the descriptions and qualifications for all levels of Airport Maintenance Tech I, II, and III below.
Schedule: We are looking for someone who can work Wednesday through Saturday, 10:30 am - 9:00 pm (4x10s schedule). This schedule may change based on the availability of other team members. Summer may offer some flexibility with morning shifts depending on project staffing.

Maintenance Tech I
The Airport Maintenance Tech I assists the maintenance department in miscellaneous tasks and activities throughout the year. Work will be conducted in an indoor and outdoor environment with some misc. indoor projects.

Qualifications:
Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification, or Registration:
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Minimal relevant work experience is beneficial.
- Skill and knowledge to perform routine tasks would be helpful.
Preferred Work Experience
- 1 year of physical work experience involving heavy lifting and carrying.
- 1 year of airport experience
- 1 year experience with mechanical systems
- 1 year experience with irrigation systems
- 1 year experience with landscaping
- 1year experience with equipment operation
Maintenance Tech II
The Airport Maintenance Tech II performs maintenance in a variety of different disciplines including but not limited to facility maintenance, asphalt and concrete maintenance, carpentry, plumbing, lighting, painting, irrigation, fencing, snow removal, and equipment operations and maintenance. Keeps airside and landside facilities and grounds in a clean and safe condition for public use.

Qualifications
Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification, or Registration:
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- At least 2 years of experience maintaining and repairing building systems, including but not limited to; facility maintenance, asphalt and concrete maintenance, carpentry, plumbing, lighting, painting, sandblasting, irrigation, fencing, and/or snow removal and equipment operations. Or any combo of education and experience is preferred.
- Class B Commercial Driver’s License or ability to obtain within 1 year is preferred.
Minimum Certification
- Building Operator Certification Fundamentals, Basic/Advanced ASOS or Airport Maintenance 101
Minimum Licensure
- Possess a valid Driver’s License, or ability to obtain within 60 days, with a satisfactory motor vehicle record without restrictions.
Maintenance Tech III
The Airport Maintenance Tech III performs maintenance in a variety of different disciplines including but not limited to facility maintenance, asphalt and concrete maintenance, carpentry, plumbing, lighting, painting, irrigation, fencing, snow removal, and equipment operations and maintenance. Keeps airside and landside facilities and grounds in a clean and safe condition for public use.

- Class B Commercial Driver’s License or ability to obtain within 1 year is preferred.
Minimum Certification
