Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Technicians to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience in hydraulic systems and/or marine vessel maintenance. This role involves but is not limited to diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining hydraulic equipment and systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards are met.
Duties
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic systems and components to identify issues.
- Fabricate hydraulic power units.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot pneumatic systems and components to identify issues.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on hydraulic equipment, including pumps, valves, and cylinders.
- Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings related to hydraulic systems.
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively during repair processes.
- Perform heavy lifting as necessary while adhering to safety protocols.
- Fabricate parts when needed for repairs or modifications.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with a focus on hydraulic systems.
- Experience with electrical systems related to hydraulic machinery is a plus.
- Experience with lathe operation is a plus.
- Ability to operate various power tools and hand tools safely.
- Capability to perform heavy lifting in compliance with safety guidelines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
