Qualifications –
- Detail Oriented
- Experience looking at construction floor plans, estimating, commercial takeoffs (HIGHLY PREFERRED estimating experience in the commercial Drapery/Window treatment Industry)
- Experience in Bluebeam or related takeoff software
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Minimum 3 years experience
Job Description –

An Estimating Manager who can meet customer needs, be excellent at their job, and works hard to get the bids done timely and accurately has an opportunity to grow in leadership of the company.
Responsibilities –
- Review floor plans to develop accurate quantity takeoffs and cost estimates
- Prepare detailed proposals, and value-engineering options for Designers, Procurement Companies, and Direct Customers
- Coordinate with end clients to clarify scope and specifications
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure accuracy and competitive pricing
- Work collaboratively in an office environment across production, material purchasing, operations, and installation teams
- Manage multiple bids simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
- Review final bids from other estimators for accuracy
- Assign quotes and manage the quoting team’s progress, tracking accuracy and timeliness (manage the quoting calendar, assign tasks, track completion of tasks)
- Lead quoting team meetings and update management on key performance metrics of the team
