Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated 4K Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of young learners. The 4K Teacher will be responsible for implementing curriculum, lesson planning, and managing classroom activities to ensure an engaging learning experience for all students.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that meets the developmental needs of preschool children.
- Plan and execute daily lesson plans that incorporate educational activities, play-based learning, and early intervention strategies.
- Manage classroom behavior through effective classroom management techniques, ensuring a safe and positive learning environment.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and any concerns regarding their development or behavior.
- Foster a love for learning through creative teaching methods that encourage exploration and curiosity.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom that promotes safety and encourages student engagement.
Experience
- Experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with curriculum development and lesson planning techniques.
- Ability to implement early intervention strategies as needed to support children's development.
Licenses/Certifications ( if the candidate does not have these then Eagle Care will provide)
- CPR/First Aid
- Child Development
- Abusive Head Trauma
- Daycare Center safe practices
- Any other DHS required trainings
- Must complete and pass a fingerprint background check
