Title: Operations Manager

Reports to: Equity Agreement Manager (EAM)/General Manager (GM)

 

The Operations Manager is responsible for supporting operations at all Eagle Brands Sales locations and reports to the EAM/GM. The Operations Manager is responsible for the end-to-end leadership, coordination, and supervision of all warehouse operations, delivery execution, and fleet management functions. This role provides direct oversight of warehouse managers, delivery supervisors, and fleet managers, ensuring that product is received, stored, picked, delivered, and supported by a safe, compliant, and cost-effective fleet operation. This position is accountable for operational execution, safety, compliance, labor management, cost control, and performance optimization across all distribution facilities and routes.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


Warehouse Operations

  • Oversee all warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory control, order picking, loading, and facility maintenance.
  • Ensure accurate inventory management, product rotation, breakage control, and shrink prevention.
  • Establish and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse safety, cleanliness, and efficiency.
  • Monitor labor planning, scheduling, and productivity to align staffing levels with volume and seasonal demand.
  • Partner with warehouse managers to drive continuous improvement initiatives related to accuracy and cost control.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, safety standards, and company policies across all warehouse locations.
  • Oversee warehouse facility maintenance, including dock doors, racking systems, refrigeration, forklifts, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment.
  • Ensure preventive maintenance programs are in place to minimize downtime, safety risks, and operational disruptions.

 

Delivery Operations

  • Provide leadership and oversight for all delivery operations, including route execution, service levels, and driver performance.
  • Ensure on time, accurate, and professional delivery of all customer orders.
  • Establish performance expectations for delivery supervisors and drivers, including safety, productivity, and customer service standards.
  • Review route efficiency, stop productivity, and cost-per-case metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, hours-of-service requirements, and company delivery policies.

 

Fleet Management

  • Oversee all fleet operations including vehicle maintenance, repairs, inspections, registrations, and lifecycle planning.
  • Ensure fleet availability and reliability to support warehouse and delivery operations.
  • Monitor fleet costs including maintenance, fuel, mileage, and outside vendor spend.
  • Ensure compliance with DOT, safety inspections, licensing, and insurance requirements.
  • Partner with fleet managers to implement preventive maintenance programs and reduce downtime.
  • Support accident management, claims documentation, and corrective action follow-up.


Safety, Compliance & Risk Management

  • Champion a culture of safety across warehouse, delivery, and fleet teams.
  • Ensure all employees receive appropriate safety training and follow established safety protocols.
  • Review and analyze accidents, injuries, and incidents; implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to warehouse operations, transportation, and fleet management.

 

Financial & Performance Management

  • Develop and manage operational budgets related to warehouse labor, delivery operations, and fleet expenses.
  • Monitor KPIs including productivity, service levels, overtime, breakage, and cost metrics.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising service, safety, or compliance.
  • Collaborate with Finance on forecasting, variance analysis, and capital planning for equipment and fleet assets.

 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years of experience in warehouse, delivery, and/or fleet operations.
  • Prior experience in beverage, CPG, or distribution environment preferred.
  • Proven experience managing multi-site operations and large frontline teams.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.

  • Strong operational leadership and people management skills.
  • Deep understanding of warehouse operations, delivery logistics, and fleet management.
  • Working knowledge of DOT regulations, OSHA standards, and safety best practices.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret operational and financial data.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to deliver results and meet company excellence standards/expectations.
  • Excellent planning skills and the ability to set priorities.
