Job Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide exceptional in-home care to clients with diverse needs. This role involves assisting patients with daily activities, ensuring their safety, and promoting independence within the comfort of their homes. The ideal candidate will have experience in senior care, long-term care, or working with individuals with disabilities or cognitive impairments such as Alzheimer's and dementia. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Monitor and observe patient health status, reporting any changes or concerns promptly
• Support patients with memory care needs, Alzheimer's, dementia, and hospice care as required
• Operate equipment such as Hoyer lifts safely to assist with patient transfers
• Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient confidentiality at all times
• Provide emotional support and companionship to promote mental well-being

Requirements

• Prior experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and medical documentation practices
• Certification in CPR is required; additional certifications such as medication administration or hospice care are a plus
• Experience working with people with developmental disabilities or disabilities is advantageous
• Ability to work independently while following care plans and protocols
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams
• Valid driver's license preferred for travel between client locations
• Must be reliable, compassionate, and committed to providing high-quality patient care

Pay: $ $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3.0 – 15.0 per week
