YOUR NEW ROLE AS OUR STAFF ACCOUNTANT
In this full-time staff accountant role, you benefit from a flexible 5-day work schedule with hybrid work options.
Starting the day as a Staff Accountant, you will have a direct impact on the entire organization and our employees through your work. From processing our bi-weekly payroll to processing accounts receivable and payable, you will be involved with a variety of projects and assignments. Throughout the day, you will support the accounting team and their work. This includes preparing government reports, reconciling accounts and project accounting. You will also assist the Accounting Manager with projects such as month-end closing and reporting and data entry while actively contributing to the team's direction and our overall success.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR OUR STAFF ACCOUNTANT
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or business-related field
- Minimum 2 years' public or private company experience (Equivalent combinations of education, licenses, certifications and/or experience may be considered)
- Experience with payroll preparation is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, proven ability to work in an environment that handles sensitive and confidential information, high degree of attention to detail, strong organizational and problem solving skills, and commitment to consistently meeting deadlines
