Salary: $57,000 - $65,000 annually (DOE)

Eadie & Payne, LLP is a growing public accounting firm serving businesses, nonprofit organizations, and governmental entities throughout Southern California. We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper who enjoys working with multiple clients, solving problems, and delivering exceptional service.

What You’ll Do

·      Maintain accurate financial records for a variety of clients.

·      Record journal entries and maintain general ledgers.

·      Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.

·      Reconcile bank, credit card, and other balance sheet accounts.

·      Prepare and process client payroll.

·      Assist with monthly and year-end financial reporting.

·      Prepare regulatory filings, including sales tax, payroll tax, 1099s, and unsecured property tax filings.

·      Support tax and audit teams with bookkeeping-related requests.

·      Communicate directly with clients to obtain financial information and answer bookkeeping questions.

·      Utilize QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online, and other accounting software to maintain accurate client records.

What We’re Looking For

·      2 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a CPA or public accounting firm.

·      Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles.

·      Experience with QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online.

·      Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.

·      Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

·      Strong communication and client service skills.

·      Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.

·      High level of professionalism and confidentiality.

An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required with relevant experience.

Location

This position is based in Riverside, CA. Remote work is available for qualified candidates who do not reside within commuting distance.
