Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Greensburg, PA, for a Preschool Teacher. The Preschool Teacher will be responsible for creating and implementing engaging lesson plans, fostering a safe and inclusive classroom environment, and nurturing the emotional, social, and cognitive development of young children. Additional responsibilities include assessing students’ progress, maintaining open communication with parents or guardians, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure the success of the educational program.
Qualifications
- Experience and skills in Early Childhood Education, Curriculum Development, and Classroom Management
- Strong Communication, Interpersonal Skills, and the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Knowledge of Child Development, Behavioral Management, and Age-Appropriate Teaching Methods
- Problem-Solving, Organization, and Planning Skills to effectively manage classroom activities
- Certification in Early Childhood Education or a related field, and/or relevant teaching licenses
- Prior experience in a preschool or early childhood setting is preferred
- First Aid and CPR certification is a plus
