Summary
Under general supervision, this position will lead, plan, design, develop, improve, and maintain complex web applications, parts of a complex application/web systems, and/or large-scale application/web systems based on the Sitecore solution platform.

Typical office setting. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
Preparation for AirVenture or other events may require lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally, standing and walking for extended periods of time while bending, squatting, kneeling, twisting, and push and pull motions.

Roles And Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design and development of Sitecore-based solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and architectural principles
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating business needs into technical solutions
- Architect scalable and efficient Sitecore implementations, including site structures, data templates, workflows, and integrations with third-party systems
- Implement custom functionality, components, and modules using Sitecore best practices and recommended approach
- Perform code reviews, provide feedback, and mentor web development team to ensure the quality and integrity of the codebase
- Drive innovation and technical excellence by researching new tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance our technical capabilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, optimizing performance and addressing security vulnerabilities as needed
- Work closely with product managers in the business to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions within budget and scope
- Suggest supportive programming languages, design tools, or applications where needed
- Design, develop, test, debug, and deploy code/systems/applications into EAA development and production environments, per standard best practices
- Develop appropriate technical documentation needed for systems/application development/deployment/support
- Confirm data quality checks are performed and resolve anomalies, as needed
- Comply with EAA and IT standards, policies, and guidelines
- Embrace and support the EAA mission and perform safe practices in the workplace and aviation environment
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
- 5-8 years of experience in developing business application web systems with a focus on Sitecore platform v10 and/or XM Cloud
- Sitecore certification in v10.x and/or XM Cloud required
- Proven track record of delivering high‑impact software solutions and applying comprehensive SDLC principles, practices, tools, and industry best standards.
- Demonstrated ability to understand business processes to identify opportunities for process improvement or automation
- Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET MVC architectures, with other relevant technologies within a Sitecore website
- Experience with front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, React, JavaScript, and jQuery
- Experience with Sitecore-related services like SearchStax, SOLR, SiteCore Identity (SI) Server, Content Management Systems (CMS) and Digital Asset Management (DAM)
- Experience using Azure Dev Ops Repos and Pipelines to manage source code version control and Production deployments
- Strong working knowledge of relational database design concepts and techniques
- Experience interacting with APIs, development services, and integrations
- Eager, Independent learner with a proven ability to research the most practical solutions to user problems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and able to exchange constructive feedback with team members
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
