Summary
The EAA WomenVenture Intern will work with EAA staff as part of the WomenVenture Committee. During EAA AirVenture Oshkosh, the intern will work closely with co-chairs and volunteers to help plan and execute activities during the week of EAA AirVenture Oshkosh, which includes an ice cream social, power lunch, porch bingo, and exhibit booth.
EAA Aviation Foundation is a charitable organization raising money to support EAA’s vital education, advocacy, and outreach programs. The intern will also help the Foundation team prepare and execute a memorable experience for top donors during AirVenture, including assisting with our annual fundraising gala, the Gathering.
Roles And Responsibilities
Typical office setting. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
Preparation for AirVenture or other events may require lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally, standing and walking for extended periods of time while bending, squatting, kneeling, twisting, and push and pull motions.

- Support the management of the WomenVenture Center during the week of AirVenture, taking directions from the co-chairs.
- Helps schedule WomenVenture Center forums and activities.
- Host the EAA Exhibit booth in the WomenVenture Center throughout the week.
- Provide clerical support for the Aviation Foundation in preparation for AirVenture, including but not limited to, answering phones, ordering & inventorying supplies, data entry and filing.
- Deliver a first-class hospitality experience for donors during AirVenture.
- Embrace and support the EAA mission and perform safe practices in the workplace and aviation environment.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Prefer a student majoring in Aviation, Nonprofit Management, Human Services, Communications, or related field of study.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point.
