Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership for complex civil engineering projects, including land development, stormwater drainage, water & sewer infrastructure, and neighborhood improvements projects.
- Act as senior technical advisor for engineering team.
- Provide high-level design expertise, review, and technical oversight to ensure quality, efficiency, and compliance.
- Lead and support project teams through planning, design, permitting, and delivery phases.
- Mentor and guide engineering staff, fostering professional development and technical growth.
- Oversee project scheduling to ensure timely delivery while maintaining quality standards.
- Coordinate construction inspection activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and technical specifications.
- Serve as a trusted resource for technical problem-solving and decision-making within the firm.
- Contribute to business development efforts by supporting proposals, presentations, and client relationships.
Skills
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Florida.
- Extensive experience in civil engineering disciplines including land development and water resources.
- Ideally, proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D for design review and assisting schematic development.
- Ability to perform detailed technical writing for reports, specifications, and compliance documentation.
- Experience with system design principles for stormwater drainage systems, drainage modeling, and water & sewer pipelines.
- Strong leadership capabilities with a focus on team development within a fast-paced environment.
