What you’ll do
- Assemble mechanical components according to detailed schematics and blueprints, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to fabricate parts and complete assemblies.
- Conduct thorough inspections of assembled products to identify any defects or areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot assembly issues and implement effective solutions.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking materials used during the assembly process.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance assembly efficiency and product quality.
Basic qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in manufacturing or assembly environments.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments, including calipers and micrometers.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and soldering techniques.
Preferred qualifications
- Previous warehouse experience with forklift operation skills.
- Background in machining or fabrication processes is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
